“Trey the Play” is a new musical by Megan Patsel featuring songs exclusively off the 2007 album “Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus.” Similar to Footloose, “Trey” takes place in a town where what they want to do is illegal. No, not dancing… drama. Drama is banned at this school and punishments can be as harsh as death. Of course, when a new girl in school riles everyone up on the same day as the big party, the students are forced to reckon with their inner-most desires and imagine a life outside of their repression and stiff stereotypes.
