An Evening of Comedy from Blair Dawson and Jenny Gorelick
Hosted by Tessa Belle
Blair Dawson and Jenny Gorelick invite you to enjoy their half hours. They're just happy to be here!
Blair Dawson is a standup comedian, writer, actress and person of interest. She regrettably hosts a podcast with her 82-year-old father, It’s Genetic, which Vulture calls exceptional and noteworthy. Currently, Blair is based in New York City where she co-hosts the biweekly show Endless Laughs at Endless Life Brewing, but can be found all over the country touring and performing as a featured act in comedy festivals such as SF SketchFest, Gilda’s LaughFest, and Oak City Fest among others you couldn’t possibly have heard of. Blair appeared on the National Lampoon produced variety show Sofa Kingdom, Comedy Central’s animated originals, and Sarah Cooper’s Audible book Let’s Catch Up Soon. Most importantly, Blair was once cold contacted to audition as a vape shop clerk for the Emmy nominated Hulu series, Ramy. She didn’t get it, but feels honored to be included.
Jenny Gorelick is a comedian, actress, and Emmy-Nominated producer (lol). She creates and hosts some of New York’s best comedy events and has been called a “crushworthy comedian” by Time Out New York. She has appeared in sketches for Comedy Central, Late Night with Seth Meyers, the JCC, and in a surprise sweet sixteen on the subway with Improv Everywhere that received 44 million views. You can catch her as an adoring fan of Che Diaz in And Just Like That and a rowdy teen on New York City staple Blue Bloods. Her dream is to play hot teens on television well into her 40’s. She has been featured in the New York Times, Time Out New York, Gothamist, MTV News, Paste Magazine, Ground Floor Comedy, and the skint. And her disaster relief show Her-icane and two person play Billy & the Situation were a selection of the iconique New York Comedy Festival.
