Jenny Gorelick is a New York based producer for film, theater, and live events.
Jenny is the Operations Manager and Director for Ticketing for the 73rd Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall. She coordinates the logistics of the Nominations Announcement, Nominee Press Day, Luncheon, Tony Honors Ceremony, Telecast, and Gala on Broadway's biggest night. This will be her fifth Tony Award Ceremony and second year as the Operations Manager.
She is the Staff Producer for the American Theatre Wing. She is a Producer of the Emmy-Award-nominated Working in the Theatre, the American Theatre Wing's acclaimed documentary film web-series. For her work on the series, she is a nominee for a Webby Award and is the recipient of a Communicator Award and the Silver Telly Award, the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films. In addition, she is the Project Coordinator for ATW's High School Musical Songwriting Challenge in partnership with the National Endowment of the Arts. The program gives out $40,000 in scholarship money to young composers and a Producer of the Obie Awards, the Off-Broadway Theater Awards.
As the Executive Producer of Nightdrive, her New York Times reviewed production The Annotated History of the American Muskrat in the 2016 Ice Factory Festival at the New Ohio Theatre broke ticket sale records for the six year history of the festival. Their production of Providence, RI premiered at the Tank in January 2017 and most recently, their 2018 fall production Alien Nation at the Paradise Factory was called “a masterclass for immersive creators in how to use a space and how to make ‘not a lot,’ feel like ‘a lot.’” For more information about their up-coming projects, please visit nightdrive.org.
Additionally, she produces Galas for non-profit theaters throughout New York. She most recently produced Ars Nova’s 2018 Novaball at Capitale and New York Theatre Workshop's Gala 2018 at the Altman Building.
Before becoming a full-time producer, she was the Company Manager of the Off-Broadway transfer of the Tony-Award-winning Avenue Q at New World Stages and the Production Stage Manager of Daddy Long Legs at the Davenport Theatre. Directed by John Caird (Les Miserables), Daddy Long Legs made history as the first Off-Broadway or Broadway show to be live-streamed over the internet. Jenny graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Business, Entrepreneurship, and Organizations (BEO). At Brown, she was the recipient of the M.H. Hicks Prize for Artistic Excellence and the Exceptional Student Leader of the Year Award for her work with Production Workshop and IMPROVidence. She is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
